A few days ago Google announced a prototype of something called project glass. This is really cool, here's an example. You are walking down the street, wearing your google glasses and you get a new email. In the corner of your eye a little message appears saying new mail or whatever, Then you use your voice to control it so you could say, open my mail and it would do that. But this is not just for mail it can do face recognition so it shows you where your friends are on a map or how far away they are. Project glass can do loads more. Here is a video on what you would see when you put the glasses on:

Does this mean you'd have Google using your real time (life) information to collect/sell to advertisers? Hmmm.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Google would be using your data because the glasses are connected to a phone. and the phone wouldn't give Google data unless it was an Android.
ReplyDeleteAnother problem could be Google filling your display with adverts so you can't see what you're doing.
